HUDSON RIVER ARTS FESTIVAL
Poughkeepsie's 9th annual free festival in Waryas Park, presented by the Bardavon, boasting non-stop music, Hudson River cruises, delectable ethnic foods, and a tent village of crafters, kids' events, and art exhibits. Woodstock Festival and folk/pop icon Richie Havens and Grammy Award-winning reggae pioneer Burning Spear and his band will headline the Arts Festival main stage, followed by a fireworks display.

WOODSTOCK TATTOO & BODY ARTS FESTIVAL
The second annual convergence of skin and ink in Woodstock, presented by Bruce Bart Tattooing and produced by Curse Mackey. Six art shows (Burton's "Rides of Passage" illustrated snowboard exhibit, "War and Peace: The Art of Propaganda"), 30 bands (Murphy's Law, Pitchfork Militia, Big Sister), a film festival, and 50 world-class tattoo artists (Eric Iovino, T-Bone, Andrea Elston) ready to emblazon bodies with ink.

LISTEN WITH YOUR EYES
A contemplative media festival, celebrating the work of avantgarde filmmaker Nathaniel Dorsky, featuring three Dorsky films on Friday night: Alaya (1976-87), Variations (1992-1998), and The Visitation (2002). On Saturday, a contemplative video workshop combining meditation and video production, led by John Ankele. On Saturday night, a screening of Late Spring (1949) by the Japanese master Yasujiro Ozu.
