Faculty Jazz Ensemble The Gig

The SUNY New Paltz Faculty Jazz Ensemble presents "The Gig." Members of the Jazz faculty will join together to present an evening of the art of Jazz improvisation. In the tradition of most Jazz performances, each member will bring their selection of repertoire to be performed without a formal rehearsal. The audience will experience a live jazz performance in its most spontaneous, creative format. Members of the ensemble will introduce each other and the compositions throughout the evening.
