The 2024 Kaatsbaan Annual Festival will return to the 153-acre artist sanctuary known as Kaatsbaan Cultural Park from September 13 through October 6. Although the festival was initially established with a focus on dance, its programming has expanded to include a broad net of other artistic disciplines. This year’s programming includes performances by Limon Dance Company, author Francine Prose, curator Hilary Greene and artists from Kaatsbaan’s 2024 Visual Arts Exhibition who will lead a free guided tour of the works on view at the site’s indoor and outdoor galleries (September 15), Gaia Music Collective (September 20) and Bard College-rooted new music ensemble Contemporaneous (September 21).
