Autumn Fungi and Forest Ecology Walk: Sunday, October 8, from 2-4pm at the Leggett Road/Lucas Turnpike entrance to the Rail Trail in High Falls. As seasons change and temperatures drop, the visible forest communities shift and morph. Organisms active in the warmer months start to slow down and other forest dwellers, triggered by the seasonal change, begin to emerge!
