Lenox native Deborah Hanson Greene is Lenox Library’s featured artist for November, with an exhibition of watercolors in the Welles Gallery, “Pastoral Landscapes and Still Lifes” that features 22 paintings of local rural scenes along with vivid florals and still-lifes. One wall also features her traveling exhibition, “Ukrainians and their Pets—Watercolors of Love and Resilience,” which illustrates the struggles of ordinary Ukrainians in a time of war. Greene supports several young women every month who do animal
rescue. The public is invited to an artist reception at the Gallery on Saturday, November 2, at 2pm.
