“The Garbologists”

September 13-29 at Shadowland Stages in Ellenville Lindsay Joelle’s “The Garbologists” offers a poignant yet hilarious exploration of unlikely friendship. Set against the backdrop of a New York City garbage route, the play follows Danny, a white blue-collar sanitation worker, and Marlowe, a Black, Ivy-educated newcomer. As they navigate their shifts in a 19-ton garbage truck, their initial banter evolves into a deeper connection as they come to understand the unexpected commonalities that connect them. Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm. $35.
